Cooking for Christ (CFC) is a Staff led and Volunteer Life Group of Healing Place Church. CFC prepares, cooks, and serves meals for church and community activities, ranging in size from one hundred to several thousand people. Participants cook for a variety of HPC events and community organizations and other churches in the local area Cooking for Christ has cook all across the United State, Mexico, and event in Honduras.
Cooking and serving a meal in the name of Christ opens many doors that the door to evangelism bringing Christ Jesus to the local area and to the world. Participants find their place in the ministry after completing introductory classes to Healing Place Church. New members are developed in serving the growing community needs. Hundreds of contacts are made every year and the services of this Life Group are becoming widely known. The volunteers have cooked and served meals with the love of Jesus, serving for the ONE. Our Life Group is a family oriented. When serving it’s all about FOOD being cooked around FIRE that provides FELLOWSHIP and RELATIONSHIP. All this to serve the body of Christ.
