We are visiting a daycare center for Alzheimer’s patients and are making Easter baskets with them. So excited to bless these precious victims of such a horrible disease.

Be an angel and spread your arms to reach out and help an elderly townhome association by doing chores that they are unable to do for themselves due to age and/or physical limitations.

They can verbalize the task needed and we can assist them in accomplishing this task. We can bring them reading materials and deliver gods message to them. Some elderly have little or no interaction with the outside world.

Help them realize they are still an important part of our world and we can learn from them as well. Too many young people don’t have a positive roll model in there life and there is alot to be learned from our senior population.

This is giving away free mineral water to people but the Gospel message is printed on the package or on the bottle of mineral water. The Gospel message is presented relevantly through the water that can quench thirst however the message is more than just quenching physical thirst but spiritual thirst[salvation] as well. You don’t just help the people physically but spiritually. I call this “Bottled Water Tracts.”
You can give this in any events- race, concerts, sports or rally. And you can incorporate this in your evangelism as you use the bottled water tract instead of the usual gospel tract to present the Gospel.

This outreach is primarily geared toward helping local special needs organizations put on their annual festivals, parades or 5k runs. An example would be to partner with Special Olympics in your community and help with one of their events. These outreaches are for all ages and are great to bring your family too.

Visit nursing homes weekly or bi-weekly with teams that can consist of any age group. A normal outreach to the nursing homes would consist of visiting residents by going door to door, painting fingernails, having WII tournaments, and having worship sing along. You could also hold monthly church services in some of the nursing homes that you visit.
