New parents with a child in the NICU can feel scared, alone, and not sure about the future. Receiving a gift from someone who cares and is praying for them can be very uplifting. Gather some volunteers together at your church or at a central location to make special gift bags for these new parents (make a few gift bags for a one time delivery, or use an event like SERVE Day to make a stock pile of gift bags for ongoing deliveries). After the bags are assembled, send a couple of people to visit the hospital(s) delivering the gifts and encouraging families.
